THE CHRIS CRAFT ANTIQUE BOAT CLUB
|
The Club's quarterly publication "The Brass Bell" has numerous articles on Chris Craft boats and the people who built them and own them. The "Trading Dock" section is loaded with ads for antique and classic boats and hard to find original Chris Craft parts. While the Club's original emphasis was on Chris Craft, it has expanded to include other antique and classic boats. This is a fine organization well worth the annual $25.00 membership dues.

The Fleming family has taken on the awesome task of restoring this classic old Chris Craft. As you will see, she was in pretty bad shape at the start. This site details their work in progress with text and many pictures. A very intersting site!

or restorers a question about your boat. A neat idea!
The page also featues a picture of the "Flagship of the Week".
In addition, the page includes links to other web sites by

Their page has the following sections:
CERTIFIED PARTS CORPORATION (CPC)Janesville, Wisconsin 53545 Phone: 800-356-0777 |
When Chris Craft went out of the wooden boat building business, CPC bought their inventory of parts. CPC publishes a price list sequenced by the Chris Craft Part No. (XX.XX-XXXXX) for $5.00. This is again well worth the cost. If you can determine the P/N of the item you need, you can readily determine it's availability and cost.
When I am looking for a part for "Night Hawk", I look to CPC first. If that fails, I then go to the "Trading Dock" section of the Chris Craft Antique Boat Club's "The Brass Bell".

LPX publishes a price list sequenced alphabetically but which includes the Chris Craft Part No. (XX.XX-XXXXX) similar to Certified Parts above. While I haven't had the opportunity to use them, a local marina I do business with states that they have had excellent service from LPX.
